How long does bathroom tiling take in Staple Hill?

Can you tile over existing tiles?

Sometimes. The existing tiles have to be firmly stuck, flat and free of movement, and the extra thickness must not foul the door or window reveals. More often it is better to take them off so the background can be checked and tanked properly. We will tell you which applies to your room.

Why does the grout in my shower keep going black?

Black marks are usually mould growing in damp grout and silicone, often because the room is not ventilated enough or water is sitting behind a failed seal. Regrouting and resealing clears it, but better extraction is what stops it coming back. We can look at both.
