Radiator installation in Staple Hill from Dynamic Bathrooms covers new radiators, replacements and moves. We size the radiator for the room and balance the system once it is in.
A radiator that is too small never warms the room and runs constantly. Size depends on the room dimensions, the windows, the insulation and how many outside walls it has. We work that out rather than matching whatever was there before, which may have been wrong for years.
More Information
Moving a radiator means new pipe runs, which usually means lifting floorboards or chasing a wall. It is worth doing if the current position blocks furniture or wastes heat behind a sofa. We will tell you what the pipe route involves before you decide.
Adding or changing a radiator changes how the water flows through the rest of them. Balancing sets the lockshield valves so every radiator gets its share, instead of the nearest ones taking it all. It is a short job that makes a real difference to how the house heats.
Radiator work sits naturally alongside the bathroom side, since heated towel rails and bathroom radiators come up on most fits. Dynamic Bathrooms is NVQ Level 2 qualified with 20 years behind it, and we balance the system after any change rather than leaving you to notice a cold room.

STILL NOT SURE?
A like for like swap on existing pipe centres takes an hour or two. Moving a radiator to a different wall takes most of a day because of the pipe run and the making good. Adding a radiator to a system means draining down, so allow a day for that too.
That is usually sludge settling in the bottom of the radiator and blocking the flow. Cold at the top with a hot bottom is air instead, and just needs bleeding. Sludge across several radiators points to a system that would benefit from a power flush.
Yes, and it is one of the most common additions during a bathroom fit. The pipe centres rarely match the old radiator, so allow for some pipework. A towel rail does put out less heat than a panel radiator of the same size, so we check the room will still be warm enough.
